Burlington United Methodist Church is located in the heart of Burlington, Kentucky. The church roots date all the way back to the mid-1800’s. The original church is still standing in downtown Burlington. The church built a new church in the 1970’s and remains our current home, just on Route 18.
We invite you to come and worship with us and experience the grace, forgiveness of love, which comes from a personal relationship, of Jesus Christ.
Open Our Hearts
We believe that living a life inspired by God’s love compels us to offer help, hope, and healing to those looking for more meaning in their lives.
Open Our Minds
We believe God’s grace is available to all people, no matter where you’re from, what you look like, or who you love.
Open Our Doors
We believe in welcoming others into our lives, but also in taking action outside the walls of the church to serve our neighbors, next door and around the world.
The name of the church was changed to Gethsemane United Methodist just after the new building was completed. We are excited to announce we are changing the name back to Burlington United Methodist, celebrating our roots and marking our place as a proud citizen of the Burlington, Kentucky.
