The Covid-19 Pandemic has changed the way we have functioned as a church. The daily situation is quite fluid was we do our best to maintain social distancing and proper self-care, however with new outbreak spikes and safety we are under a constant mode of change.
Communications has always been important but more so in this current time of crisis. For this reason we are making some improvements and changes in a number of areas.
We are in the process of moving our website and email to a new platform/company. This change will give us better security, flexibility, and growth so we can provide a safer delivery of information. If you go to our website and it looks a bit….off…that is because it is. It will take a number of weeks to complete the migration. Once complete we will be able to safely integrate online giving on our website and an area to listen to past sermons and studies. Believe it or not, some people don’t use Facebook which is currently our primary mode of sharing the worship services.
Also, if you send an email to the pastor or other “burlingtonum.org” email account and you get an error…once again… that is ok. It will take a week or so to stabilize everything, so we thank you for your patience. Please stay tuned as we work hard to move forward during this time.
